Embedding Adaptation and Resilience into Uganda's Sovereign Debt and Credit Profile
Uganda's Finance Ministry is embedding climate adaptation and resilience into its sovereign debt and credit profile; the interim report sets out what it calls a SovTech approach to sovereign debt analysis. Teal Insights is the technical partner building the open-source tools, in co-design with MoFPED and the Bank of Uganda. NatureFinance, the London School of Economics, and Systemiq are partners in the broader program.

Searching the Fine Print (at Scale)
A proposal for scaling expert legal annotation across sovereign bond contracts, presented as a working prototype: 4,800+ prospectuses gathered from three public sources, with 9,145 candidate clause matches across 59 countries. The prototype grew into the open-source Sovereign Prospectus Database, now covering 9,774 documents and growing.

Greener on the Other Side: Mapping China's Overseas Co-Financing and Financial Innovation
Maps the shift in Chinese overseas lending from bilateral policy-bank loans to commercial co-financing, and what it means for energy transition finance. The evidence base: roughly 18,000 lending records classified with a validated LLM workflow, methodology appendix and code published.
